Contents
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation is:
Joshua ReitmeierReitmeier Product Compliance
Alfred-Schütte-Allee 144
51105 Köln
Germany
Telephone: +49 175 1113767
Email: kontakt@reitmeier-compliance.com
No data protection officer has been appointed, as the statutory conditions for doing so are not met.
2. General principles
I take the protection of your data seriously and process only what is genuinely required for the purpose concerned. This website works without tracking, without advertising networks and without embedding external services. A cookie banner is therefore not needed, because no cookies requiring consent are set.
Personal data means any data by which you can be personally identified, such as name, address, email address or telephone number.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external service provider:
STRATO GmbHOtto-Ostrowski-Straße 7
10249 Berlin
Germany
When the website is accessed, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser that is technically necessary to deliver the page and to secure its operation:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file retrieved
- Volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
- Browser type and version, operating system
- Previously visited page (referrer), where transmitted
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless provision and the security of the website.
Retention period: Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate a specific security incident. This data is not combined with other data sources.
A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
4. Contact form
If you send me an enquiry using the contact form, the following details are processed:
- Name (mandatory)
- Email address (mandatory)
- Description of your product and your current status (mandatory)
- Company and your role as an economic operator (optional)
Processing takes place on the server I use. The details are not stored in a database but forwarded directly by email to my mailbox.
Recipients: apart from me, the only recipient is STRATO GmbH as processor, which operates the server and the mailbox. The data is not passed on to third parties for their own purposes.
Purpose: handling your enquiry and getting in touch.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is directed at concluding or performing a contract; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on my legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
Retention period: your enquiry is retained until it has been dealt with and no further questions are expected. Where an engagement follows, the statutory retention periods apply (as a rule six or ten years under German commercial and tax law). You may object to storage or request erasure at any time.
Whether providing the data is required: providing this data is neither required by law nor by contract. Without a name, an email address and a description of your request, however, I cannot deal with the enquiry. Using the form is voluntary; you can equally reach me by email or telephone.
To protect against automated spam the form contains an additional field that is invisible to you. No further data about you is collected in the process.
5. Contact by email and telephone
If you contact me directly by email or telephone, I process your contact details and the content of your message in order to deal with your request. Legal basis and retention period correspond to the details under point 4.
6. Data within a consulting engagement
Where a collaboration comes about, I also process the data required to carry out the engagement, such as contact persons, invoicing and project data. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for retention obligations under tax and commercial law, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Product, design and test documentation you provide to me within an engagement is treated confidentially and is not passed on to third parties without your express instruction. Disclosure to notified bodies, test laboratories or suppliers takes place only in agreement with you.

8. Your rights
In relation to me as the controller you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access to the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Article 16 GDPR)
- Erasure, where no statutory retention obligations stand in the way (Article 17 GDPR)

Right to object under Article 21 GDPR
Where I process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. I will then stop processing the data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
No direct marketing takes place. Should that change, you may object to processing for marketing purposes at any time and without giving reasons.
An objection can be made informally, for example by email to kontakt@reitmeier-compliance.com.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Irrespective of the above, Article 77 GDPR gives you the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for me is:
